The French Geological Survey, or Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières (BRGM), is France’s reference public institution for Earth Science applications in the management of surface and subsurface resources and risks. Created in 1959, BRGM operates as a public industrial and commercial institution. BRGM's activities are organized around its five key roles: scientific research, support to public policy development, international cooperation, mine safety and training.

BRGM is leading CCUS ZEN’s work on identifying promising clusters, hubs and CCUS value chains as part of WP1 and contributing to the delivery of tasks in WP2, WP3, WP4 and WP5.
